We administer the day-to-day operations of 11 pension plans for about 55,000 active and 30,000 retired members in Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the provincial government along with a number of quasi-public organizations. Find information relating to your pension plan here.

New Brunswick Public Service Pension Plan

As an active member of the NBPSPP, you’ll find valuable information and resources regarding your pension plan in this section.

The NBPSPP is made up of 40,833 active, inactive and retired members from a variety of employers across the province.

The NBPSPP, along with the NBTPP, are joint owners of Vestcor Corp.


On October 6th, 2021 we held our 7th Annual Information Meeting via live webcast.

The presentations at this year’s meeting included:

  • 2020 Actuarial Results – The NBPSPP’s actuary, LifeWorks, gave a thorough walkthrough of the 2020 Actuarial
    Valuation (see page 4) and what it means for your Plan.
  • Road Map to Retirement – Vestcor’s Member Services Team laid out what you can expect leading up to your
    retirement, and some of the important dates you should keep in mind.
  • 2020 Investment and Plan Administration Report – The Plan’s Investment Manager and Plan Administrator, Vestcor,
    reviewed how the investments of the NBPSPP performed in 2020, and gave an update on the administrative services
    they provide to members.
  • The meeting concluded with a Question and Answer Session with questions submitted by members.
